Asking for help is hard.

Asking for help is hard.

You never anticipated life with your teen would be like this.
You think you should know how to parent them, but nothing works.

You want to believe them.
You want to trust them.
But you see risky behavior.
They lie about what they are doing.
They push you away.

You’ve always been able to figure things out, so you’re confused as to why your parenting isn’t changing anything.

I should know how to fix this!
I shouldn’t need to ask for help.
But I don’t know what to do anymore.

You wake up sweating in the middle of the night.
Tears come when you think about what might happen.
You hope things will change.
You pray things will get better on their own.
But they don’t.

I know this because I was right where you are.

And then there was this moment when I thought,
It’s time.
It’s okay to ask for help.

And honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t realize this sooner.

You were never taught how to parent a teen in today’s world.
You don’t need to feel guilty or like a failure to seek out help.
You weren’t meant to endure fear and worry alone.

It might feel daunting to take the first step and reach out.
To talk about what’s going on.
But relief is on the other side.

I am a life coach for parents of teens, and I can help you.

The next step is to send me an email. You can tell me, “I don’t know what to do anymore,” and I’ll guide you through the rest.
